I heard that we had a successful hatching of a baby Loon in my cove on Long Pond.
(successful hatchings are rare on Mt.Desert Island.)
When I'm out on the boat, I'll try to get a picture of the wee one cruising in the cove on it's mother's back.
Loons and Lupine!...Love this time of year in Acadia National Park!
How can a plant that is considered invasive be so beautiful ?...I hope my neighbor's plants (see photo) INVADE my office lot next door!
